What could fiercely be felt throughout the Contested Ground weekend at 176 Project Space in Chalk Farm was the alive nature of the weekend. The passage of interruptions and investigations, work slipping between and beyond each other in a bid to iterate the space as well as demonstrate. Exciting chance points of intervention left the path for two days of thought rumbling visibility and constant movement. Here, is a point where the project continues. Online as ever the departure point from the stone fabrication of Contested Ground to re-presentation and re-iteration. Looking not backwards as a moment of non-production, but looking at what happened and finding new engagement. It is a chance for those involved to take a step back and think outr0spectively. To expand the project from the then and wonder could something such as Contested Ground work within a structure away from the thingliness of its exhibition stance, what does it mean to document such a process and how does such documentation receive in light of what has already managed before?
